1. Paris Jackson
Notoriously tattooed Paris is highly in touch with her spirituality, and recently debuted a multicolored chakra tattoo to prove it. The tattoo, which represents energy points and is dedicated to Eastern spiritual traditions, stretches from her sternum to her navel. Some of her other 50 tattoos represent late musicians like John Lennon, David Bowie, Prince, and her father, Michael Jackson.
2. Brooklyn Beckham
David and Victoria Beckham’s son recently turned 18, and has wasted no time following in his father’s footsteps. In just six months, he’s already racked up seven tattoos, including a camera on his bicep, an eagle on his hand, a Native American chief and compass on his forearms, and “Made in England” on his foot. Of course, this has all happened so quickly that by the time you’re reading this, he’s probably added a “Hasty Spice” stamp to his collection.
3. Lady Gaga
Gaga has around 20 tattoos, and differentiates her body’s sides based on the types of tattoos they have; she calls her left side “Iggy Pop” and her right side “Marilyn Monroe.” Her ink ranges from a monster paw to a treble clef to large German script on her left bicep. In the trailer for her upcoming documentary she can be seen adding a simple yet elegant “Joanne” to her collection for her newest album dedicated to her aunt.
4. Amber Rose
Recognizing Amber Rose is a bit of a toss-up because we’re not exactly sure why she’s even famous, but she makes the list because of a recent (and pretty stellar) cover up of her ex-husband’s face. She added Wiz Khalifa’s smile to her left forearm in 2013, and only decided to cover it years after their split, replacing him with the Guns N’ Roses rocker, Slash.
5. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
We have to give credit where credit is due, because Dwayne’s newest tattoo is just plain badass. The Rock spent three sessions totaling 22 hours to revamp his iconic “Brahma Bull” tattoo, and the results are epic. Johnson wrote, “Every detail is a reflection of my own personal history. From the cracks and heavy damage in the bone representing life’s hard lessons I’ve learned over the years. Just like scars and wrinkles — I’m so grateful to have ’em because they’re earned.” The only thing cooler than his new ink is the meaning behind it.
